Roy Stryker, hired as a consultant, worked with eleven photographers, including Russell Lee, in establishing a picture collection documenting the steel-making process for the Jones and Laughlin Steel Corporation. The photographs were available for reproduction and promoted in a publication titled Steel Pix.

Cuthbert Bede….20
Cuthbert Bede, nom-de-plume for Edward Bradley, wrote the first humorous book on photography to appear in England. Photographic Pleasures, published in 1855, pertained to photography yet evidence indicates that Bradley did not practice or have a continuing interest in photography outside of his book.
